International Business Department now has a total enrollment
of over 4000 students, enjoying the reputation of the
biggest department in the college .It is a collective of
unity, innovation, and vitality. We've established not only
a complete set of teaching and management system, but a
efficient staff of teachers of all ages who have rich
teaching experience and high quality in scientific research,
with some foreign experts teaching jointly so as to
guarantee our teaching quality. The Department currently
numbers more than 100 excellent teachers.
Driven by the need for academic research and job market, our
department has offered several
orientations as International Trade, Business Management and
E- business
based on the teaching pattern of English +Majors .The main
courses compose of English (Essential English, advanced
English, Business English and Translation ) the Second
Foreign Language, International Trade, International
Relations, International Marketing, Law of International
Trade, Practical English Correspondence and
Telecommunications, Public Relations and E-Business. We are
going to train qualified and versatile talents who are on
top of the basic theories and skills of contemporary
international economy and trade, with high abilities in
expression and communication. The students will be
proficient at foreign language and well versed in majors in
the 21st century. In addition to the required major course
of foreign language, the practical courses, such as computer
and driving are offered to help our students to meet the
needs of society. All these have provided a brighter
prospect of vocation and space of sustainable development
for our graduates. The first employment rate of
undergraduates of our Department reached 85.2% in the year
of 2007, which was 5.2% higher than the average employment
rate of Chongqing City.
We have a united and strictly disciplined student cadre
group, bringing their talent into full play. They organize
colorful activities with purposes for and effects of
promoting friendship, strengthening the collective sense of
honor, developing teamwork, arousing the students'
enthusiasm and initiative and improving the ability of
organization and dealing with matters.
